Start at Demesnes c.p, Barnard Castle, grid reference NZ051161 (Bottom of bank, turn off road left (opposite Blue Bell pub) onto Gray Street. At the end of Gray Street is c.p. Leader - Julie Carolan

The walk heads along Teesdale Way through Pecknell woods/farm, heading NW to Hury Reservoir for 1st break (6.5mls). Then head East through Doe Caravan park along to the FB before heading up to Romaldkirk for lunch stop on the green (12mls). After lunch head South up to Eggleston where we'll see the haunted lady at the bridge before turning back onto the Teesdale way following the river back to Barnard Castle. Walk is 19.8ml with 1402 ft of elevation. Please note that this is a different route to the January 2023 walk from Barnard Castle which also went to Hury Reservoir
