Start from Spitalcroft Road, Devizes, SN10 3FL. Parking available in residential streets in around walk leaders house

Initially we will head east to take in the heights of Milk Hill, & on to Avebury. From there we start going west to Cherhill monument, Calne, & eventually reach Maud Heath's Monument. A descent now to Chippenham & our main evening meal stop (There are a variety of takeaways, or if preferred 'Spoons). South now to Lacock, Melksham & the Kennet & Avon Canal. Finally we head east again, taking in Semington & Seend before ascending Caen Hill back to Devizes

General Notes
This is a group walk, as normal we will all walk together, at group pace. It is ideal for anyone that would like to try a longer distance. There are some water taps on the route, but it may be up to ~15 miles between them. The route has about 3000' of ascent. This is an unsupported walk, it is likely that if you need to stop the only way back to the start will be by a taxi
