Good luck to those of you who are taking part in the Hunnypot Hundred down in Kent this weekend. We wish you all well and hope the conditions are favourable for a long walk. Volunteers from the Wiltshire and Dorset groups look forward to welcoming you to Edenbridge (Checkpoint 9) at 75 miles.
Thank you in advance to those group members who will be travelling down to volunteer. If previous events are anything to go by, it should be an amazing experience.
The volunteers have got a couple of walks planned beforehand. I'm due to lead a walk on Friday afternoon around Ashdown Forest, a.k.a. Hundred Acre Wood in AA Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh stories. Some of the volunteers will be visiting the start in Meopham at 10am on Saturday, before going on a walk in the local area. If you're in the area, and are able to join one or more walks, please do so. I can share the details with you.
