Due to weather warnings of ice and snow this walk has been cancelled. The risk is not the walk itself but the potential road conditions for people driving to Rothbury early in the morning. The walk will be resheduled for a later date.

Circular walk from Rothbury. Parking at the start of the walk at the Cowhaugh c.p, also known to locals as the "Haugh C.P", this is on the south side of the river & has about 80 parking spaces, grid reference NU057016 post code NE65 7QR. Leader - Alex Harris
