Follows packhorse route via Ripponden,Windy Hill & Milnrow ;refreshments at Flying Horse at the end if wished

General Notes
We will wait arrival at 08.23 of 07.50 train from Rochdale at start large c.p or park at Sowerby Bridge station c.p or street parking nearby; trains 2 per hour or 587 bus hourly to return to Sowerby Bridge at finish .Moderate/brisk pace

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
