Taking an anti-clockwise loop from Allendale town, the route covers 26 miles (42 km) taking in Hard Rigg, Black Hill and Kilhope Law before returning to the town via Spartylea, The Drag, and Ladelwell

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
