Start and finish at the Plough Inn, High Flatts, Chester-le-Street, DH2 1BL. There is plenty of parking beside the Plough Inn. The walk will be led by Chris Bishop and Gordon Rennie. Please note that although this is the same starting point for Chris and Gordon's walk in August, this is a completely different route.
This is an easy graded walk with no significant hills or difficult terrain
Plough Inn - Stanley - Holmside - Burnhope - Sacriston - Edmondsley - Plough Inn
Dogs Welcome on leads. Drinks at the Plough Inn afterwards

Walk Report
This walk was cancelled due to weather. Storm Arwen brought 90 mph winds and sleet/snow. Although the walk itself is low lying and easy grade, travelling to the walk was considered too dangerous. The walk will be rescheduled into the walks programme.Maps:
