So the seventh pre Christmas walk started from Anne’s today, with coffee/ tea and warm mince pies ( some MrK......., some home made)
Seven walkers ( plus me) Julie, Kevin, Lynne, Kim  and SP Ron, Norman, Andrew ventured out in the mist at 08:30, with a steadily uphill start to allow “mp and drinks” to settle, then heading via a series of reservoirs to the “finger post” at Higher Bank, and over to Wilderness, via the, this year, a not too slippery bridge over Ogden brook. Drink stop at Chew, down the metalled road and then Dovies res, and via Yeoman Hey to Binn Green, lunch stop.
Up in the mist again to Aldermans, visibility nil, so any view left for next years walk ...... along the tops, dropping down to Cross Keys, down to pretty festive lights of Uppermill village, picked up the canal, and back to the start to finish off the morning goodies!
Thanks for coming everyone, have a good Christmas, and happy walking in 2018
