2015 08 20 Hull to Crewe

Funny how a chance remark leads to unintended consequences, a mention that nobody had ever done a walk from Crewe whilst sat on the Crewe platform, meant that that this walk was a world premier for L.D.W.A. Everyone took advantage of trains to Crewe and we were soon off and walking along Cheshires green and pleasant footpaths, through corn and potato fields, visiting quaint villages. A quick final spurt past Crewe Alex FC enabled everyone to catch an earlier train than expected. Thanks to all who ventured into the unknown.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
