Well, I think we’ll be on a “no,no,no,no not Friezland again in 2014  ……”  4 nos for 4^th year and 2014!!!!!

Many thanks for coming, after last couple of soggy ones, thought it would have put most off.  Also of course, many thanks to Nathan, my brother in law ( in photo 1195) for being my co-pilot in route finding the second half .

A good turn out with coffee and mince pies from the chuck waggon at the start.  More or less straight up to the trig on Alphin Pike.  Round the glorious Hoarstone Edge to Chew Reservoir and back down the access road to Dove Stone.  Along and up to Pots and Pans.  Lunch was taken out side the Diggle Hotel.  We picked up the Huddersfield canal around Uppermill in the run back to the cars.  Back in day light too - quite a feat for the shortest day of the year and just over 20 miles.
