Two Trigs and a Pool

 

Tudor Davies led this Social walk which took place on Saturday 13th August. The route started from Brechfa Pool and climbed to the first Trig point on Mynydd Fforest. We then made our way over to the second Trig point above Pant y Colly with good views of the Black Mountains in the distance. From here we had lunch in the village of Llaneglwys after which the route went over Llandyfalle Common through Ponde then back to Brechfa Pool. Thanks Tudor for a fantastic day.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
