Coast and Country

On Saturday 22nd July, Tudor Davies led a group walk which started in Aberystwyth. The circular route climbed to the monument on Pendinas Hill then went across to Constitution Hill, visiting the remains of Aberystwyth Castle on the way. There were views to Clarach Bay before descending to Llangorwen. We climbed up to Cwm yr Allt and Cwmcynfelin Woods then over to Waun Fawr and Llanbadarn Fawr. We crossed the Cambrian main railway line, the Afon Rheidol and also the Vale of Rheidol railway line, making our way back to Aberystwyth. After the walk we made our way to a local pub for a well earned drink. Many thanks to Tudor for leading a very enjoyable walk.
