Meifod Meander

From the Village of Meifod, we followed Glyndwr's Way, stopping for our morning break at the Quaker Meeting Hall. We then continued along Glyndwr's Way to Dolanog, where we had lunch. The village is set next to the River Vyrnwy and the river tumbles over a waterfall that is part man-made. After lunch we continued along tracks and footpaths to go through the Nature Reserve near to Pendugwm. Some lane walking brought us to Pen y Bryn where we had our afternoon break. We were able to follow some easy footpaths and tracks, skirting around Allt Fawr to reach a lane that took us back to Meifod. Thanks go to everyone who came along and we hope you enjoyed the day. Here are some photographs of the day taken by Cyril Williams.
