Christmas walk and AGM - 14th December 2019

This year's Christmas walk and AGM was held on the 14th December. The Mid-Wales group welcomed David Morgan (Chair LDWA) and enjoyed a 7 miles walk in the Llanidloes area.  The weather threw everything at us - rain, hail, high winds and we even had some sunshine.  Morning break was taken at the fisherman's cottage overlooking Marsh's Pool where we enjoyed homemade gingerbread made by Yvonne.  Christmas lunch and AGM was held at the Red Lion Hotel in Llanidloes. Many thanks to all who attended on what was a most enjoyable day.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
