Route
Meet at start of South Downs Way at bottom of slope by finger post. Parking in road where King Edwards Parade & Dukes Drive meet.
The 20ml is a circular route via Beachy Head, the Seven Sisters & Cuckmere Valley to Alfriston where there will be a lunch stop then return via the Inland section of the South Downs Way. The 26 mile walk is the same but the the addition of a visit to Firle Beacon. The 26ml day will involve one lunch stop at Firle Beacon (weather permitting) & one drinks stop only at Afriston. Toilets will be available (subject to being open on the day) for both walks at Birling Gap (around 4 miles) & Alfriston. Please note that this is a relatively demanding & hilly route
General Notes
It would be appreciated if you advise beforehand of your intention to attend in a bid to help with registration. 20ml & 26ml route will be led by Jim Briggs & David Thornton respectively
