You will not be surprised to learn that the committee have taken the decision to CANCEL the Cerne Giant event next Sunday 22 March. Entrants, village halls, and others who need to know are being notified today. We apologise if you have to revise your plans for next weekend, but there is now an unacceptable risk level for both entrants and volunteers, despite all the precautions we had intended. There is also the uncertainty as to the national position by next Sunday. We have just heard that another LDWA event on the same day, the Sevenoaks Circular, has been cancelled.

Those who helped on the marshals' event and those who have bought food for the main event should claim expenses from Robert. See https://www.ldwa.org.uk/Dorset/W/5715/expenses.html

Those who have been issued with first aid kits should return them to Pat or another committee member in due course.
