Hi All,

Please see additional information from Martin below.

Just a few points about this walk additional to the details on website and in Strider:

Park discreetly anywhere in the village. We are meeting at the south entrance to the church, but be aware of people leaving the church service which is at 8am this Sunday.

We will be visiting the grave of a Nobel prizewinner for Literature at Bowerchalke, who nearly taught me at school, and the tomb of one our less successful prime ministers (plenty of choice there) at Alvediston.

At the moment the forecast is for very strong winds and heavy showers so please wear the appropriate stuff for the conditions. If the weather is very severe I will shorten the walk. We will be walking at a moderate pace.

There may be a pub at lunchtime but may not get there in time or go there. Bring a packed lunch in any case.
