Dorset LDWA

Dear All,

On the weekend of 15 - 17 November the National LDWA is holding the annual Local Groups weekend where delegates from each local group can raise and discuss topics relating to the association. Chris Pitt and I will be attending on behalf of the Dorset Group and would welcome ideas of matters you would like us to suggest as discussion topics; the future funding of the LDWA is already on the agenda.

Following the weekend we will report back at the AGM in December.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
