This years Summer Solstice walk on Friday 21st June will start from Shore road on Studland at 4:15am.
Park on the side of the road adjacent to the Godlingston Heath National Nature Reserve Sign and footpath (Grid Ref SZ025843). The plan is to walk to the Agglestone Rock about 1 mile for sunrise at 4:54am followed by a leisurely walk to Swanage in time for Breakfast at 7am.
The High Street Cafe in Swanage is open early and they are only too pleased to accommodate us, they are even dog friendly. For those of you who are Dorset LDWA members the group have agreed to fund the cost of a breakfast. After breakfast we can decide which route to take back to the cars.
There is seating for 20 in the cafe so first come first served.
