Firstly I would like to say thank you to everyone for marshalling on Sunday's Doddle West.

On a stunning October's day we only had 119 starters but they were treated to some of the best that Dorset has to offer. We received so much wonderful feedback on the day, from a fantastic route, very supportive and well run checkpoints and impressive baking and food. I know how much hard work goes in before, during and after the event so again thank you all.

Please don’t forget, you can claim travel expenses, from your home, throughout the day and return to your home.
You can download a claim form from the Dorset LDWA web page. Send your completed claim form to Robert Powell, along with any receipts.

Just a quick email to the whole Dorset LDWA team.

Many thanks for putting on the Doddle West. It was a great day out even though from a personal point of view I was up against the clock. Stunning scenery , weather and so nice to have 2 indoor checkpoints en route. Everything seemed to work so smoothly and everyone so helpful. Just what an LDWA Challenge Walk is all about,

I have done a couple of your Doddle events now and on each have thoroughly enjoyed the routes and the excellent support offered by your marshals at the very welcome CPs.
This weekends West Doddle has a fine mix of the best parts of walking, a great opening climb, great views, sweat and toil, the elation of striding out along ridges and a new experience of trying to move forward across pea shingle.

Just to say a big THANK YOU for today's event.

A great event from all of those volunteers who supported the event from Marshall's, check point and finish helpers. Of course the weather was an added bonus.
As an individual as well as others I completed the route with would appreciate it if the event could be planned in a October on an annual basis.

I look forward to entering and attending future LDWA events
