Please see the message below from Anne Brown asking for leaders to lead walks in the months December 2018 to April 2019. Please do think about it, especially if you haven't led a walk so far. Any questions direct to Anne at dorset.ldwa.walks@gmail.com or submit the walks as in her message. Please do not reply directly to this email as it is from an unmonitored email account used for outgoing messages only.

Dear All,

We have had a superb programme of walks this summer which have been varied, interesting and well supported. Thanks to all the walk leaders! There are lots more walks in the pipeline (including our AGM and walk on 2nd Dec), however, it is now time to start planning our programme from Dec – April ready for the next edition of Strider. If you haven’t led a walk recently (or ever!) could you take a turn?

As before, I’ve created a Doodle for you to reserve a date, and give an indication of rough area so we get a good spread around the county:

1. Firstly, open the Doodle calendar: https://doodle.com/poll/mwkn5n3ymrfsimhi
2. Where it says ‘x participants +’ click on the ‘+’ to create a new line
3. Insert your first name and initial
4. Check the ‘Popular Challenge’ line for clashes which may mean you get fewer participants
5. Check the ‘Dorset LDWA Challenge’ line and avoid these dates – we need everyone who is free to help
6. Choose a date
7. In the ‘Comments’ section at the bottom, put the actual date (if it is not a Sun) and approximate location. Try to avoid similar locations in quick succession.
8. Click ‘Send’ next to the comment box and ‘Send’ next to the calendar

Then at some point before 19th Sept could you please email all the details for Strider to me: dorset.ldwa.walks@gmail.com and Martin: dorset.ldwa.secretary@gmail.com
If you need any help / advice do get in touch or catch me on a walk.

Thanks in anticipation of your contribution.

Anne
