Following my recce a couple of weeks ago, the GPS (Gist of Preamble according to Sue) for Sunday's walk is 17ish miles of spring flowers, fields of frisky lambs, a handful of skittish cattle, one or two hills and an unavoidable area of flooding which may require inventive gate walking/fence vaulting antics and good humour!

Maybe a pub at lunch for ambitious power walking pint drinkers but all to bring packed lunch.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
