There is an issue on the route final section in para 3.4 to do with cows, turnips and electric fence. An alternative route has been advised by the farm. So in 3.4 where it says "In 100m through gateway and cross field to far corner on CB50" substitute "In 100m do not go through gate but from gate BR along fence on LHS to approx SY 656 874 and then approx NE to gate into farmyard." The issue will be kept under review for the main event, and possibly the route description amended. I will also make an announcement or clarification at the start in Charmouth.

Just to remind you (as if you need reminding!) about the temperatures tomorrow, for example wind chill will make it feel like a temperature of -3⁰ in Abbotsbury at 1200. Higher up (which you will be a lot of the time) it will feel even colder. At least one extra layer (or more) than a "normal" cold day and good warm gloves and hat is essential. Have a good day and see you at Poundbury (or Charmouth).
