--------------

Firstly, thank you to everyone who volunteered to lead a walk between now and August; the programme looks very varied and interesting and I hope to come on as many of the walks as commitments allow. If you weren’t able to get organised in time for Strider and would still like to offer a summer walk, we can advertise social walks at short notice using email and the website (as we do with the Re-Tired walks). You will see from our website the available dates are:

11th Mar
15th April (Wye Forest 50)
27th May (Cinque Ports 100 and Spring Hol)
8th July (Afoot in Two Dales 50)

17th June is also free but this weekend there is a 2 day walking festival at Langport in Somerset. Challenge walks of 3.1mile, 6.3mile, 12.5mile and 26.3 mile are all on offer, so why not take the family and get everyone involved: https://www.ldwa.org.uk/challenge_events/show_event.php?event_id=19223
If there is sufficient interest we may be able to organise a minibus to go up and back on Sunday 17th June.

Please email me if you are interested in leading an extra walk, or going to the Langport Walking Festival: dorset.ldwa.walks@gmail.com

Many thanks and hope to see you all soon,

Anne
