This email has been sent to Dorset Group Cinque Ports volunteers at the Folkestone checkpoint only.

As promised in my last email to you, here is an update. Firstly, I am working together with Deirdre on planning, and I'm grateful for her expert advice and input.

1. We would be grateful if you could now indicate when you can be available on Sunday 26 May. We have divided up the hours into three unequal time periods based on likely number of entrants in each, and setting up and closing down requirements. Please could you indicate which of the following you can work. I'm afraid some including me will have to cover more than one time period (we have 18 volunteers), so please indicate two time slots if possible. Please do not reply directly to this email but reply to me at dorset.ldwa.secretary@gmail.com   But I know some have also volunteered elsewhere on the event.

0130 to 0500 - 7 people required (checkpoint opens 0230)
 
0500 to 1400 - 12 people required
 
1400 to 1800 - 10 people required (checkpoint closes 1610)

A few of us will be arriving on the Saturday evening to start setting up. 

2. I have also been asked if any of our team will want to go to HQ (Dover) for a meal after the checkpoint has closed and, if so, how many. So please indicate if you would like to do this. Reply details as above. (Dover is 20 minutes drive from Folkestone).
