I am leading the group walk next Sunday 19 November, from Fontmell Magna village hall, familiar to many, and here are some further details to remind you about or supplement what is in Strider.

Directions – the village hall is at the extreme western edge of the village, well past the school.

Lunch - there will NOT be a pub stop, so bring a packed lunch as usual.

Parking – the village hall car park, location as per Strider, is quite small, so please carshare. I will collect £1 per car toward village hall funds. The village hall may be open to use the loos.

Hazards - I may possibly take a right of way across Compton Abbas airfield. If I decide to do this, please be aware that aircraft can land at any time, and in an emergency from any direction.

Torches -  I will try to get back in the light, but in case of delays, you should bring torches.

Non-members - I will need to take a few details from any non-LDWA, to be destroyed at the end of the walk. Not my idea, but an instruction from national LDWA. More about this at the AGM.
