Just a few points about this walk:-

- The minibuses are now full. If you aren't one of those who have booked, you will need to make your own arrangements to have a car at the end of the walk at Buckland Newton or get yourself driven back to the start. Please be at Sturminster Newton (location in Strider) by 0920. It would be helpful to know if you intend to do that.

- The following are booked on the minibuses - Alison Bell, Teresa Brooker, Richard Brown, Sandra Brown, Martin Callow, Mike Childs, Patricia Dashwood, Hilary England, Deirdre Flegg, Angela Gray, Dave Green, Keith Nicholson, Chris Pitt, Robert Powell, Brian Taylor, John Widdowson. Please join the buses near the school at BN (GR in Strider) and car share if possible. Please let me know if you cannot come as your seat can be offered to someone else.

- The following will be meeting us at the start (please be there by 0920) and will be driven back at the end -  Phil Brown, Liz Sheppard, Martin Sheppard.

- I have added in a bit which isn't on the Hardy Way (to avoid excessive road walking) making the total distance 14½ miles (not the 13 miles in Strider). This extra bit goes over Nettlecombe Tout which features in Tess of the D'Urbervilles.    

- We will be doing a lot of narrow but possibly busy roads with blind bends so please take extra care at these points.   
    
- There will be no pub stop.
