Annual Pilgrimage to Witham Friary Drive with extensive car sharing to car park near Alfred's Tower ST749353. From 10:30 Stroll around Stourhead for autumn leaves if not too late and return to car park. Drive to Witham Friary for lunch at Seymour Arms.(https://pubheritage.camra.org.uk/pubs/national-inventory-entry.asp?pubid=142). Short walk in the afternoon around the Witshire Frome (home of my ancestors, which might explain a lot!) and then leave before dark. Dave G
