You are receiving this  email because you are registered as a primary member of Dorset LDWA - and are entitled to attend the AGM and vote. The constitution  requires that  formal notice of the Annual General Meeting be given not less than six weeks before the AGM.

The AGM  will be held at the Corn Exchange in Wareham at 3pm on Sunday the 29th of November 2015 (The same venue and arrangements as in the last  few years) 

Could you please note that in addition to the six week notice of the meeting,  there is also a timescale in relation to nominations for officers and  committee members,  and for motions to the AGM .

Nominations for Officers and Committee should be received no later than four weeks before the AGM.

Motions  to the meeting should be also received no later than four weeks  before the AGM. 

The group committee meets on Friday November 6th to consider the agenda and business of the AGM,  and any nominations or motions must be  received by Sunday  1st of November. The agenda will be published two weeks before the AGM 

For information, I am standing down as secretary at the AGM after  seven years,  and  nominations for the position of  group secretary will be welcome.
