Hi Mike,

Please forward to all members:

Dear All,

Sunday's walk is a lovely undulating route, with super views in good weather.

It starts from Farnham, ST 958 150 at 9am. There is limited parking next to road, S of 'The Museum' Pub - please car share where possible (we have one space left). The route is 18 miles, 1950' ascent (mostly in the morning) and is on good clear paths, so short-wearers will be fine.

Lunch is at Tollard Royal, and although there is a pub (the King John), I have not found it very walker friendly, so please bring lunch.

There are very few stiles, but lots of paths where land-owners request 'Dogs on Leads'. We may stop at Chettle village shop in the afternoon, if we arrive by 4pm.

Unfortunately there is a clash with Dorset Steam Fair, and an event at Larmer Tree Gardens, so traffic may be heavy, especially towards Blandford on our way back home.

If anyone would like to join us for half a day (morning or afternoon) this is possible, so give me a ring: 01202 887434

Hope to see lots of you there.

Anne
