This is a new member taster walk for potential new members, and is being held as part of the Moray Walking and Outdoor Festival. The route will take us on a circumnavigation of Forres, including Cluny Hill, Muiry Wood, Sanquhar and the Altyre Estate, returning via the River Findhorn. Our existing members are very welcome to come along. However, the number of places is limited

Walk Report
4 members and 5 guests enjoyed a 'Tour of Forres'as part of the Moray walking and Outdoor Festival. The walk was 12.5 miles and started in Grant part, going to Nelsons tower, sanquhar Loch, Dallas Dhu distillery, Knockomie, Pilmuir crossing the A96 to walk back along the banks of the River Findhorn and past Broom of Moy to Waterford and back to Forres.The weather was very nice.Maps:
