A Bridge Not Too Far on Saturday 22nd October 2016

 Great Autumnal weather in Ryvoan with Cairngorms in view.
Having a break outside Ryvoan Bothy. The midges have all gone!
 Beautiful poem from someone who loved getting back to the Cairngorm mountains. This poem is displayed in the Bothy.

 The Reindeer centre in Glenmore. There are 4 Reindeer kept on site here for the public to see. The rest of the herd can be seen roaming the Hills! Also useful for pulling sleighs at Christmas!

Nairn AGM Walks on Sunday 25th September 2016

 Starting from the Newton Hotel in Nairn at 10am

 In interesting gate that discourages motorbike use in the Culbin Forest.
 This must be one of the lowest trig points in Scotland at 4m ASL. It's on the Whiteness sand bar west of Nairn.

Two Towers Walk on Saturday 27th August 2016

 Six of us started at the Forres railway station at 9.05am. We met up with the other 11 walkers on our way to the first Tower.
 Nelson's Tower at 10am. Many thanks to the Forres Heritage Trust for opening it up, especially for our LDWA Walk. Great views from the top!

East Moray Circular on Saturday 23rd July 2016

Four Harbours Walk on Saturday 19th March 2016

2015-11-28 - Castles, Railways and Rivers on Saturday 28th November

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
