Sun 17th May 2026
Walk Details:
The route is on good tracks & minor roads in South Loch Ness with 305m ascent. We will walk through the Dumnaglass estate past Loch Conagleann to Aberchalder & Loch Mhor, here we join the Trail of the Seven Lochs through Errogie then follow the river Farigaig to Torness & Abersky. This is a very quiet area of South Loch Ness; we will see lots of lambs and wildlife on this walk, hopefully some raptors too!

Walk Report
Eleven members of the North of Scotland group walked through the Dumnaglass, Errogie and Abersky areas of South Loch Ness. Despite the forecast, we had warm and dry weather all day and saw many, many lovely lambs!Other Files
