Car Park in Embo (not sign-posted). Take turn off for Dornoch from A9. Drive through the town centre. At junction turn left & follow B road (not named on map) to Embo. On approaching Embo, do not take the right bend, drive straight on into Station Road at the back end of the village.

Figure of 8 walk. Starting from the old railway track at the back end of Embo, onto dunes & beach, back to railway track through village to reach the old railway track leading to Dornoch, into woods with a couple of interesting history points, then along the path looking over the golf course & coast, into the town centre for cafe stop. Returning along the coast path to Dornoch Point, if tide out, then beach/paths back to Embo.
General Notes
The distance of the walk is between 14 & 18 miles, depending on tides.
Dogs are welcome on the walk. We hope to be able to identify a dog friendly cafe stop.
