North Kessock Community Hub - Old Pier/Main Street, North Kessock, IV1 3XN (w3w: sports.scanner.trickled)

The route goes out along the Moray Firth through Charleston to Bellfield before turning inland to follow tracks and quiet minor roads to pass St John’s Church at Arpafeelie (1816, the oldest church in Moray, Ross and Caithness). We will walk through the Redcastle Estate before returning to North Kessock along the quiet shore road. We will walk at 4.5 to 5km/hr. Ascent 250m.

The walk will be followed by the North of Scotland LDWA AGM, starting at 2pm in the Community Hub. Tea & coffee available

General Notes
Participants can park at the North Kessock Community Hub; there is an invitation to pay car park. Please bring your own food and drink for the walk as none are available on route. Dogs (with PL insurance) permitted on the walk but not allowed in the Community Hub. To book, please email with your name, mobile number, membership number and name and phone number of an emergency contact

Eight members plus Bumble the dog enjoyed a 12 mile pre AGM walk from North Kessock to Redcastle, returning along the Beauly Firth. After an initial wet start, the rain eased off, so we weren't too damp for the meeting!
