Walk Report

8 LDWA members did this 16 mile circular route in glorious Spring sunshine. We started from Bedrock, Blervie and climbed up to Burgie Hill for great views from the Moray Firth in the north to Ben Rinnes in the south east. Down hill from here through the Tulloch and Sourbank woods to the Rafford Community Cafe at the village hall. After bacon rolls, cake and coffee, we headed into the Altyre Estate to look at their historic buildings and another refreshment break at the Glasgow School of Art picnic benches. Westward from here to the fisherman's hut on the banks of the Findhorn River at Rivermeads. Homeward bound to Bedrock from here via Loch of Blairs, Dallas Dhu, Chapelton Dam and the Newforres woods. A great walk in good company.
