After receiving funding from the Martin Greaves Fund, North of Scotland has secured funding for 12 places on a navigation course at Gelemore Lodge. There are still 2 free places available for LDWA members. There will be 2 groups, one for beginners & a more advanced. If you are interested then please contact Alison Collins for more information

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
