Circular route starting from Dallas Dhu
Dava Way & woodland paths to Rafford VH via Skene Meadows. After café break at VH, up Sourbank to Burgie Hill for viewpoint lunch. Thereafter, down Califer Hill to Forres flood alleviation on minor roads, then through Sanquhar woods and Dava Way to Dallas Dhu Distillery

The weather stayed dry and sunny for the 7 walkers on the this 10 mile loop route from Dallas Dhu. The Dava Way south to Skene Meadows and Woodside to arrive early at the Rafford VH community cafe to enjoy bacon rolls, cakes and hot drinks. Up Sourbank after refreshments to summit on Burgie Hill and a magnificent panorama from the Moray Firth right through to Ben Rinnes. Down hill from here to visit the Blervie Castle ruin and the Templestones stone circle before a lunch stop at Bedrock. Back to Dallas Dhu via the Quarry wood, Mosset Dam and Sanquhar Woods.Maps:
