Inverness rlwy stn, Academy Street entrance
The walk leaves Inverness to take the Great Glen Way to Ladycairn, after which it takes a track to cross the hillside. This track is likely to be boggy - but at the end we will be rewarded with fine views of Loch Ness. We then drop down to Dochgarroch before returning to the city via the footpath alongside the Caledonian Canal - it may be getting dark by then, so it is advised to take head torches
General Notes
Nearest c.p at Rose Street. There is a train which leaves Forres at 0756 & arrives in Inverness at 0826. Dogs welcome providing owners have pet insurance
