Route
From Inverness take the A82 south along the side of Loch Ness. Take the steep uphill minor road on right, signed for Abriachan. Go past the loch & turn left to follow track down to c.p
Walk is vey wet in places & boggy for a long stretch. There is also a steep scramble. There are stunning views of Loch Ness with an ascent of Carn na Leitire (434m)
General Notes
Please contact the walk leader to book giving membership number, mobile number and NoK number. There are composting toilets at the c.p. Maximum of 3 dogs on the walk. Please bring food/drinks for the day

Walk Report
A 12 mile walk around the Abriachan Forest. We started from Abriachan and wound around undulated hillside with stunning views of Loch Ness. It was very boggy. After lunch we went up the 1424ft Carn na Leitre and were delighted by the views. There were 11 LDWA members and 2 dogs.Maps:
