Start at White Horse c.p, SN4 9NR (best approached on minor road off A4361, opposite Broad Hinton turn)

Walk North on Ridgeway to Barbury Castle then down to Uffcott and Broad Hinton – continue south along valley to Avebury for Pub drink and picnic. Short PM on Wessex Ridgeway then Ridgeway to White Horse

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
