A big 50 mile circular around NW Moray

Starting from Forres going to Rafford via the Dava Way, then Heldon Hill ridge east to Elgin for lunch. To Lossiemouth in the early afternoon along the old railway line, then the Coastal Trail back to Forres

General Notes

There are good public transport links between from Elgin & Lossiemouth back to Forres if walkers want to retire part way around. Support walkers are welcome to join us at Elgin 1pm, Lossiemouth at 3.30pm, Hopeman at 6.30pm for an evening walk, or Findhorn at 9.30pm for a sunset walk on the final leg

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
