Route
The Moray Mountaineering Club bus will drop off the LDWA walkers at the start of the walk at Loch á Bhraoin at about 9.30am
Starting from the A832 access track to Loch á Bhraoin and walking SW into the mountain wilderness known as Fisherfield then NW at low level on good stalking tracks to the Shenavall Bothy before heading NE then north to Dundonnell. Finishing at the Dundonnell Hotel. There are opportunities to shorten the route to 16 miles, if the weather is poor. Bus PU between 4 & 5pm for the trip back home via a pub stop. Usually getting back to Elgin for 9pm
General Notes
LDWA members only and we are restricted to 10 places initially, but more will be allowed if there is space on the bus on the Thursday before the bus meet. Bus pick up times are Elgin 07.00, Forres 07.20, Nairn 07.35 and Inverness 08.00. No dogs on the bus. £15 cash to the MMC bus meet coordinator on the day. Due to day length, the bus meets are unsuitable for children
