This email is being sent to the PDA volunteers at Checkpoint 3 in Avebury, i.e. Eley, Graham, Jill, Roger and Sue. I'm also sending to John French.
You will hopefully have seen the instructions that I sent out on Friday regarding the manual recording process. Because Checkpoint 3 is indoors and will hopefully have WiFi access, you are requested use the scanners which we have on loan from Surrey LDWA. The data you record using them will automatically appear on my laptop at HQ. That's the theory at least.
Everything you will need for recording entrants' progress will be available for collection from HQ early on Sunday morning, including three scanners. Please bring your smartphones and chargers with you on the day.
