Hi everyone,

My penultimate act as the group's Secretary, before I begin the handover to Sue Pavey, is to write and publish the draft minutes from yesterday's very enjoyable AGM. I've also published our new constitution.

Having read/heard the comments made in my Secretary's Report, you will be aware of my concerns regarding the current running/management of the group. I will continue to raise my concerns/suggest better practices from the 'back benches', and I would urge you all to do the same if anything doesn't feel right, or needs to be improved.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
