Hi everyone,
I hope you're having a good summer. If you're not able to walk, I hope you're enjoying either the tennis, football, F1, the general election coverage or whatever sunshine there is! I'm off to Scotland shortly to walk the John Muir Way!
Following last month's report on the Speyside 100, Bruce Barclay got in touch to tell me his name got left off the list of volunteers. A belated thank you, Bruce, on behalf of those who took part in the event. The event itself appears to have crocked a few of our regulars, to the extent that Lucy Robins has had to postpone her 50th birthday walk until 17th/18th August. I may well be tempted to take part now! Apparently there are still some vacancies on Bea Therin's summer extravaganza this coming weekend, and Roger Swift has just submitted a 15-mile walk for Thursday 18th July, based in Cirencester, the details for which will be published shortly.
Talking of Roger, here's a photo from his recent Northleach walk ...

Forthcoming Walks
Finally, here's the usual look ahead to all the group walks and challenge events that are taking place this month within a 50-mile radius of Chippenham.
