Undulating Wealden walk through woods & fields exploring ancient iron workings & hamlets.
Route touches the northern boundary of the Pevensey Levels before returning on part of the 1066 path

General Notes
Lunch stop at Herstmonceux after 9.5 miles. Cafes or picnic. Cafe would want numbers so please let walk leader know if you want to eat at the cafe

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
