Start from Polegate station (c.p. charges apply). Route out via the Cuckoo trail to Abbot’s Wood then the Vanguard Way to Chiddingly. Return with spectacular views of the Downs past the Long Man of Wilmington along the Wealdway and Vanguard Way before returning on part of the Cuckoo Trail from Hailsham to Polegate.
