From the start the route goes west past Inkpen Gibbett, Ham Hill, southwest to Oxenwood, south to Haydown Hill & Fosbury Hill Fort, east to Vernham Dean, north to Rockmoor Down & a final haul up Sheepless Hill back to the start.
