You need the Netherwood Roundabout off the A633 Wombwell.

GR- SE401031

Please note that there will be an earlier start time of 09:00. This is for the mere mortals of the 'Hundred' club to be hopefully over Laddow Rocks before nightfall.

Then a mass start will follow at 10:00 for those who wish to start at that time.

A later start time is available of 13:00 and will be from the same event HQ.
Slow/Fast walkers and runners are encouraged to choose an appropriate start time to ensure they do not arrive at checkpoints before/after the advertised opening times.

Starting times will be recorded as the start time entrants allocate on the entry form, it is the responsibility of entrants to ensure their start time is recorded by the appropriate official at time of registration.
Failure to do this will result in a 10:00 start time being allocated.

The following should be noted about car parking and sleeping arrangements at the Wombwell start/finish HQ before, during and after the event.

  1. The event is based at a school and we are permitted to providing areas for camping and mobile homes, these must be self sufficient from the Thursday night. Areas are set aside for camping and mobile homes will be outside the school grounds but within the area (school bus turning areas) please check the relevant pages for these areas.
  2. Long Stay Car parking is limited to approx. 300 places so please share cars where possible.
  3. Car parking is for entrants only, no supporters. Note that there is a fishermans car park just as you enter the driveway some 200 mtrs from the school gate, we advise you use this.
  4. After finishing a hall will be available for sleeping, but, as we have to vacate the site by 1:00 pm on the Sunday, this will only be available until about 11:30 am  on Sunday. Therefore late finishers are strongly advised to make arrangements for sleeping elsewhere before travelling home. See below and the local accommodation page.
  5. Vacating the site by 1:00 pm means that all entrants must leave the site by 12:00 noon at the latest on the Sunday.

Important note for late finishers

  1.  It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that they have sufficient rest prior to driving home and not the organisers of the Trans-Pennine 100.
  2. Any person who is likely to be a late finisher MUST MAKE arrangements to stay in a B&B locally, details can be found on the accommodation pages .
